GL! Amgen is doing a nationwide expansion FYI... in neuro. Might be easier for nbu reps to get in based on experience but certainly worth a try. They pay much better, higher salaries, better bonuses (that get paid on time) and benefits are terrific (better than shire)

Congrats! Always easier to land a job when you have one.

As an OBU rep I will continue to play the game, which is not bad at all.

Lunches, calls, etc. I love my ECP's and will stay in this specialty area.

I just wish my do nothing RD would stop his obnoxious field visits. All he does is talk about the couple of reps at the top and why can't I do what they do. He has the business acumen of a rock. Thinks he's a Xiidra guru...just talks as the staff and md's eyes glaze over...pathetic.

Same here, I want to stay in Ophthalmology but I can't stand this brainless job and micromanaging company. I'll switch specialties to go to a better company that treats employees better and pays better. My managers idea of coaching is telling me to "just grow". Thank you Capitan obvious!

Isn't that the truth. Shire could care less about any or all of us. They want rapid growth, record profits every qtr and to share none of it with you. Complain, and you will be fired. Don't like the ridiculous goals......quit and save them a comp pkg.

Don't like the fact that your goal is double the national average....quit. Tired of outperforming the nation significantly in growth, but somehow finishing below the nation for goal attainment....quit.
 






Remember when you tell the truth it becomes part of your past and when you lie it defines your future. So all you snowflakes that lie on this site, your future will be bleak! Go Shire and good selling!
