You're naive. You do not have any expertise by selling Vascepa. There are no job advertisements asking for certification of Vascepa sales nor any professional titles base upon that nonsense. Many reps have sold fish oil and, many, more have sold within the Cardiology arena. There are ACEs, ARBs, Beta Blocker, Statins, Antiplatelets, Anti-arrhythmics, and etc that have been sold, so there are plenty of reps if a company needs them. If the company is purchased, you will be expendable like everyone. You'd better get a real certification or specialized degree if you want some expertise that would make you less expendable. Because, if you believe that nonsense that your manager stated, you're in trouble.

Is this an official Amarin Press Release from Gwen Fisher??!! No it isn’t jerk! Our jobs are safe. Upper Management wouldn’t lie to us. With this huge FDA news, Amarin will be expanding not downsizing!
 












I'm not even a part of this company - but as a pharma rep and a shareholder, cafepharma a good place to find things out before shit hits the fan.

From my experience telling you--- You are just a rat in the rat race for those who think your JOBS are "safe".

Moneys evil. When a big pharma sees potential in a drug- they will pay big money for it and I kid you not. Your upper management will see $$$ and $ell. They are in this industry just like you and I . Money! So TOMMY- Sorry- We are selling if the price is right lol

What they tell you just to keep you calm. But always - look out for yourself in ANY industry. Work is Work. Business is business - it's just money at the end of the day that we all care about because we got a life to live and a family to feed. Just my two pennies.

The drug no doubt is a good drug. I have family members on it. If you have shares. I would HOLD until minimum dec28. Best until a buy out which is foreseeable.

Your manager has no idea either! Of course the company is going to tell you they have your best interest in mind. They want you out there working to make them money. People would sit home and apply for jobs if they knew theirs was in jeopardy. They need you working until the very last second. Everything is top secret until finalized and in writing

Unfortunately most companies including Amarin care more about money than their employees. Amarin is no exception. There compensation package has and will remain the lowest in the industry. Think about it. A pharmaceutical company not a rent a rep company which does not provide fleet vehicles. Enjoy your stock. It will go up from here. You will be dealt to the highest bidder.
