Discrimination is a way of life at Forest Laboratories. Gender, age, race, and disability. Unless you are 100% healthy white male under 30 there is a target painted on your back in the sales force. Internal departments seem to function appropriately but it's a "good old boys" network in the field.

That is funny! You are a blind fool. A lawyer will take any case if money is involved. especially when it is against a for profit organization. They do not need evidence in a class action lawsuit only individuals with a grudge.
 






I hope Forest loses like Novartis did and has to pay up. Novartis had to pay every female employee tons of money from the lawsuit. My friend at Novartis got over $30K from it. That would be awesome!
 






Our maternity leave completely blows! You only get paid 6 weeks at 100% under short-term disability and then only 40% a week for every week you're here. You don't qualify for B&C when you're out on maternity leave. They pro-rate it when you're gone. I guess they think we have no residual value when we're not in the field. Every other pharma company has a much better package: 12 weeks at 100%, full bonus/commission. You have to work up until you have the baby here unless you get a note from your doctor. Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis are just some of the companies I know that give you a full paid month off before your due date for liability reasons. AZ lets you take maternity leave of 6 months with your same position guaranteed and up to 1 year off with a guaranteed position but not your same position. Forest demands that you come back 12 weeks to the date after having your baby. Forest is not family friendly, not for working moms in the slightest! Here's another great example: Some new moms that were back to work that had to attend a POA were forced to still have a roommate even though they were still breastfeeding. They were forced to pump in front of them. How terrible is that! This company doesn't know the first thing about how to treat their employees!

Agreed. If anyone approaches me I have saved emails that give fact to this claim, and I am a guy. Paternity only allowed for a week (even though i had many more weeks i could take after being here 5 years) DM said i was close to being in top quartile so needed to be at work. this is exactly the kind of unethical treatment and "persuasion" that will ensure this suit is won by the representatives.
