So I ask what do you get when your the second to last (I think) manager in the company who barely rides with his reps at all and is clueless to how the business really works and who had never managed a sales rep before being hired.

The answer: A promotion. That's right suck at your job and get a promotion to save your skin. All due to the fact that your well connected because of daddy. Daddy used to work with BG and JM the area directors.

All while some of the most respected and successful managers are run off.

So I am predicting that the gulf coast manager BS will soon be moved into another role and whoever is running Dallas will take the state over.

So what's the real problem with BS? I haven't heard that he's fantastic but I haven't heard that he's terrible either. As far as not being experienced you have to have a first gig somewhere. If someone believes in him enough to give him a chance then it's probably for a good reason. This company is clearly split between the old mentality and the new mentality. You should either get on board or find another job because the direction is probably not going to change anytime soon.
