I think it's safe to say now the Endo reps have ZERO selling ability. BT sales are very weak, reps spend very little time with Pulm docs in favor of the easy work in GI. They are nothing more than glorified OR nurses helping GI docs, not real sales people!

I love the blue scrub wearing, order taking, BSC Endo guys. I worked with BSC Endo for 5 years before moving up to sell stimulators. I actually have a lot of love for the company and the division, but to be honest I found the job to be pretty boring. Many territories have 85-90% market share and you end up taking orders and hanging out during ERCPs. Not a lot of "selling" since almost all labs just convert directly to your new products when they come out.

Endo reps are not sales people, they are just account managers..

I'm interested to know what your point is in creating this thread? Usually it's to gloat about taking BSC share or that their contracts are what keeps their compliance high. I feel that just saying that they suck at sales isn't motivation enough to take the time to comment.
I agree there are reps who aren't strong, but BT isn't the proper barometer for being good at sales given factors out of their hands like reimbursement and driving patients from allergists who want to keep their asthmatics in their office. The rest of the Pulmonary portfolio is fair game and is an opportunity often overlooked.
