I am interviewing for a management position within Breg. I would like to understand the culture, the products, the leadership, and the direction of the company from folks that work at Breg now, or recently left the company.
There is talk on this board of OFIX spinning off this division. Is this feasible in the next year? If a brace is a brace, what competitive advantages does Breg offer that the competition does not? I understand they help practices with billing and bringing the braces in-house. Can't every company do this?
With all of the recent negative press with OFIX and the pending lawsuit that still has not been settled on the spine side (Blackstone deal), what does the future look like at OFIX once these things are settled and the company can move forward? It seems like the stock is doing well, despite the issues in the organization.
Is Breg a company that with great leadership could turn into something special, or is it simply too late to take to the next level? What is needed to take Breg to the next level? I appreciate the feedback!
