We have our POA this week and our fearless puppet of a leader doesn't even address us. The Region just lost its best manager and RD who had us going in the right direction. You would have at least thought he'd give us a vote of confidence or a good job. However, he just sat back and didn't say a word and showed us the waste that he is. Very awkward meeting and definitely a void.

I agree with the original post and think you are a complete IDIOT. SS was a fantastic manager who truly cared about us. Here is your proof that he was good and we were going in the right direction....the bonus check I'll get at the end of this month and my last three with SS as my manager is more than 3x more than the previous year with the joke of a manager we had. That is also the case across the division so it's not just me.
 






Waste, yes. Give me one example of any manager from DM up thru ABD who has EVER helped generate 1 rx for this company. Managers are only only a liability to this company. When layoff start, cut the fat. Eliminate 50% of managers 1st. That will save the companiy millions a year in dead wt.

Better coverage??? You are an idiot. SC has always had good coverage. I guess you are the former DM that couldn't hold his jock strap and were so jealous that you helped with the knife in the back. You're so jealous that we all liked him more than any will ever like you.
 












Please tell me what SS did that led you to a better bonus. I worked with him prior to him being a manager... did not manager his old team. Not a bad guy but not a great manager either. Just because you liked him does not make him a great manager. Nobody wants to hold his jock (although it appears one little girl did) and what you do everyday is not rocket science. If you need SS to show you how to make more bonus money then that is a problem within itself. You have the easiest job in the company and yes I know because I have had success at both positions within the organization.
 






Simple facts, our division was in the bottom 50 consistently before SS came to SC. As SS as our manager never outside the bottom 25% for over a year. Call it what you want but he showed us how to win, believed in us and most importantly made us WANT to win which is something no other manager here has EVER done. I could care less who wanted to get in his jock and if everyone else would have minded their own business like adults then he'd still be here and we'd be MUCH better off. And I can promise you that at least 8 if not 9 of his 10 reps feel this way.

Never outside the top 25 is what I meant. That is why our bonus checks were the highest this past year than ever as previously mentioned. Maybe you should take note and ask his reps what made him so much better than you.
 






Not better than I... I have a jacket and 2 diamonds from the 5yrs I was there. I have now moved on to greener pasture. Worked w/ SS and glad to hear you like him but I don't need to take any notes from him or ask his team anything. Drinking and partying in a professional setting will get you everytime. I hate it for his family but his immaturity is why he is gone. I would simply take all the motivation and skill he shared with you and move forward. If he had all the answers just always ask yourself... "what would SS tell me to do" or "How would SS coach me to success?" Good Luck!! I just like to tune into this board to read the drama when I am bored.
 






Ok I think we are in SALES where most of the management drinks at POA's so don't give me that. Heck the last POA we had I saw Gerrard close down the bar one night and he could barely walk. I'm sure SS had his moments partying but I don't think thats's what got him at all. I'd also be willing to bet you aren't off to greener pastures if you know those details of the situation. I also will bet you don't have 3 Clubs if you are from Region 34 because nobody has won three in five years from 34 in the last decade. So nice try poser and why don't you worry about how you are going to stay out of the bottom 50 instead of bashing someone who did a lot for this company and me personally.
 












Actually I know two that won in region 34 three times in five years. I worked with one of them (Zach Leonard) so don't discount the poster making that statement. If I were the one defending the DM that was fired why don't you leave the company and go work for him again wherever he may be? Sounds like your life is much better under his wing.

exactly what you should expect. he sits up there in knoxville doing absolutely nothing as he has done for years and has no one's back in the entire region. he is a total fucking waste of space and will sacrifice anyone to spare himself from having to do a god damn thing. total puppet. sickening that he sacrificed cb a 10 year employee who was helping the turn the region around and put it back on top and there are so many low lifes in region 34 who stabbed him in the back to better themselves. karma is a bitch mother fuckers and your turn is coming. as for ss, who gives a shit who he sleeps with, he could sell and i for one as a member of his team loved the guy. so many others have done the same thing and kept their jobs. cannot wait until i can leave this company and am going to enjoy sitting back and watching it implode.
 






How can the company justify paying ABDs, RDs and DMs the money they pay these clueless asswipes. They are nothing but a liability to the bottom line. How can any of these asslickng people tell you they make any difference in the success of forest. I want anybody, anybody give an example of a DM teachin them anything that helped make them or forest one Fn cent. PS, telling yo to close harder or ask fo th business doesn't count.
