This company talks about diversity and inclusion. However, it hosts a girls trip to Chicago! That's cool. Seriously, I'm o.k. With that. Question is: To avoid a discrimination lawsuit, when is the boy's trip?
This company is a joke. Talks about promoting women. Yes, if you kiss and manage up, you get promoted. If you are white, kiss up and manage up, you may go places, other than that, forget about it. Full of BS.....
wow what nerve and entitlement you have. Discrimination? Don't make me laugh, dummy. This company talks about diversity and inclusion. However, it hosts a girls trip to Chicago! That's cool. Seriously, I'm o.k. With that. Question is: To avoid a discrimination lawsuit, when is the boy's trip?
Spoken like a white male in managementPerhaps there are no qualified African American middle managers qualified or talented enough to make it to the next level. Seriously, if you are that talented then fucking leave and move on to another company. Pharma is always bending over backwards to attract diverse talent.

Well said to most posts above. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to count the guys in leadership and compare to the minorities and females I would go out on a limb and guess that even the small handful of women/who broke through the glass are still pushing for equal treatment if not pay. That is discrimination. Up down and all around. This company is a joke. Talks about promoting women. Yes, if you kiss and manage up, you get promoted. Where in this post does it say anything about male vs. female? But since you mentioned it, this company also bends over backwards to look for opportunities for women and other what they call minorities. I am not saying this is wrong, just that it is true.

Let's be clear on the Women in Action conference (not "girls' trip!") last month: it was pure window-dressing. The company would rather spend all that money on a big rah-rah boondoggle than promote women in the marketing or commercial ops organizations. Go to any of the managers or sales meetings or commercial offsites, and who do you see on stage? White guys. Lynn is the only female VP in all of APUS; besides her, there's one female executive director in marketing, and 3 female directors. And nobody of color. I'm so tired of the frat house running this company like their own personal kegger - and even worse, marginalizing some brilliantly talented people because they don't fit the mold. The next promotions are about to be announced, and surprise!! More white guys will get moved up - the same ones who perpetuate this discriminatory culture. "Women in Action" - give me a break!!
