Boston Scientific Hires

I am sure Cesar has brought over a lot of the business, but I am hearing that the more recent hires in the Northwest and the Northeast are having much more of a struggle. I am considering a move myself and am interested in hearing what others might know about their success )or lack of it). I am sure if I called them directly I would get a very biased answer.

Input is appreciated.

Look in the mirror then shit in your coffee and drink it. See how you feel after that then mit on 3 of your closest friends finally jerk off in front of your colleagues.

Once you do all this you will be credible to join Biotronik

Seriously, get a life. If you feel that sad about your position in the world that you have to write this stuff, change what you are doing. What a loser.

you have heard exactly correct. some are highly successful, but a lot of PNW are in failure mode. Bio can be hugely rewarding if you know how to sell intensively to the physician. MDT people are legendary failures at this type of sales approach. STJ people get it; BSX, most don't....Rather than ask the reps, ask your physician friends for input.;.

Their resounding votes of confidence in response to your question might be one indication..(and dont for a second believe they arent on this board, just take a look at some of the bsc threads)

If theres any doubt whether you own a docs business think twice before making that move. The grass is always greener, you want to explain fidelis? Cognus? or explain why your company pays docs and promise them the service their patients receive wont suffer with BIO. Every company has an issue to overcome. Other than what its like when you get there, get a handle on why youre making the move in the first place. Is it a groundswell of anger about your leaders thats exacerbated by gossiping with your buddies? Bad reason to make a move. Is it b/c you have a doc that will follow and they're going to pay you 30% commissions? Maybe a good move.

I have heard that the CA and OR BSC hires are doing OK but the WA BSC hires have not been able to bring over anything significant. Even after the 30 day BSC recall. How long will Bio give them to make it happen?

One of the PNW reps in MT just got let go. Is this the first of many or will the rest hang on?

When their guarantees are finished, and reality sets in, most won't have to be let go, they'll be long gone....awful hard to keep the thing going on 1-10 devices a month, especially after the excessive amounts paid in guarantees. It's either steal outright from the old Bio reps, or appeal to them to pay you an 'override' on their sales. Neither road will produce enough income to keep going, however. Welcome to 1099 sales arena. Already some of these folks are sniffing around their former employers looking to hook up again.....

Interesting! I understand they had one year deals and April has no significance. I only hope there is some truth to it but I can't imagine Bio would make that kind of investment and run. They are sniffing for their jobs back? I don't think those jobs exist anymore.
