Boring Non-transformation

If anyone thinks that the new management at B+L is rapidly moving to change the culture, improve systems and hire new competent management and employees forget it.

Nothing is transforming here. The reality of it is that the people that are in charge of the day to day activities are that same ones that were here five years ago, the culture is the same as five years ago. Boring and slow movement throughout this entire company.

Untrure- 5 years ago before Flemming, Perry, and the Jokers, it was exciting to work at B&L. You felt like an upstart with all the power to manage your own territory and the resources to do it. People wanted to work hard and had real hope for the future. There was a culture to B&L with O'Rourke, even though people may have thought his leadership to be questionable. Turns out that what came after him has been the beginning of the end of pharma at B+L.

Smoke and mirrors to attempt to fool a potential buyer. The company has been in a downward spiral for years. The Pharma business has been destroyed by Perry and Kathy. They destroyed Novartis Ophthalmics and have done the same at B&L. Their ridiculous realignment is exactly the same shuffling that eventually forced many reps out of jobs at Novartis.

The reps weren't forced out. PS & KK couldn't sell their way out of a paper bag; numbers just kept falling due to their incompetence. Let's face it; look at each of them individually. They are in way over their heads. They don't remotely have the backgrounds to be where they are. Flemming just put them there and there they stay. This is analogous to putting two 5 year olds behind the wheel of an automobile that is already on and in gear. You're lucky they can even speak but they will crash the car. Management simply saw the numbers without trying to understand what was going on and simply laid everyone off in one fell swoop. Where do you think we're headed. They'll go on to some other scam Flemming gets pulled into and so it plays.

Boring Non-transformation pretty much defines this company. Very little change. No new products. Very few prospects for business to get better due to nothing happening that will turn this company around.
