Bonus plan

Can anyone else understand this? Do I need to plan on earning ~$4500 For being at goal, which means I'll bring home about $2800... for helping to sell a few million dollars' worth of product? Thays fair and equitable - and now I see that it's CSO-type payout... How unfortunate is that? Glad to have a job but this SUCKS.

And they're still "looking into" whether or not they're going to send top performers on trips. How could they give this a second thought? Yet again, CSO-type dealings.

The best is yet to come. How about never really knowing what the matrix is? They constantly change the way they calculate bonus and sometimes don't tell you about it. You get your check with no explanation of how, what or why. The answer will always be "it is what it is", live with it, it beats not having a job. THERE IS NO INCENTIVE TO KICK ASS.

Are you serious? Why would they change it midstream? And why wouldn't they want to pay for actual performance? I'm new to contract sales (not to Pharma) and had heard this before but didn't believe it. It's like we're peons or something. Well, after my first bonus check rolls in I'll believe it - and won't be as quick to kick some ass, which I've already done.

The sad part is, it IS a job, no matter how bad we're screwed.

Unbelievable. Imagine, though, how much more reputable Ventiv could become if they had a history of hiring top performers and those performers remaining top performers throughout their tenure with Ventiv and the hiring companies. Talk about a powerhouse. But they'd have to incentivise people... pay them more than average for retention purposes. Sadly, I don't see this happening anytime soon.

Thanks for the heads up.

Perhaps Inventiv had some clue to your level of intelligence when they realized that you actually thought that your daily role of asking for signatures through the front window and catering pizzas to fat office cows, somehow "contributed" to millions of dollars in sales? So, yes, I think that it is "like you are a peon or something........"

Some of you people are just fucking hilarious.
