Bonus Payout

If you are employed through 3/31, and you resign a week or so later, will Takeda still pay out your bonus? Normally they wait to pay out until June/July, but I’ve heard ‘Yes, they will pay as it was earned’ and ‘No, if you leave before June 1 there will be no bonus paid out’. Anyone have experience or knowledge?

are you sure? I heard you have to complete the quarter. But in short to the question above, you finish through March 31 you will be paid for it. Paid on 6/15 area like the rest of the current employees.

Look at your state labor laws. In some states they only have 5 days to get all monies earned to you once you are separated from the company. That includes vacation payout, bonus and your paycheck. If not, contact your lawyer. I know of two companies sued for this reason.

My last Day was 2/1...I received my bonus payout for Oct-Dec

look at the IC docs. Payout will be given if employed for full quarter

I’m fairly positive if you work thru 3/31, you’ll get paid that full quarter’s bonus (Jan-Mar) regardless of when the actually initiate the direct deposit.
