How long do you need to work in a given quarter or at year end to receive your full bonus for the given period ? What about enhanced 401k contributions ? Starting to really consider situation

Bonus you get prorated.
Enhanced 401k you have to be until the day it is given, like Feb.

Better not worry about a 10k Quarterly Bonus or 10k savings as you can get that in a signing bonus w another co.

not sure there will be many signing bonuses given oncology customer lockouts and major pharma restructuring

Smart move! Lay-offs are coming to pharma. 6 mos, a year, two.... they’re coming for many. The golden goose is getting old and can’t lay as many eggs.
The key is timing. Obviously, it all depends on your age and tenure. If you are over 35 and have 10years stay and ride the wave, less, throw the dice.
Do I get into the job market now, or wait. Do I want to compete with 1000 reps or 5000 reps?
What do I gain by staying? If could be another 10 yrs of employment, fattened 401k, or 10 days and nothing.

Pharma, as we know it, is over.
