I thought I was being honest ! No offense, are you being honest.. read below
1)I am pretty sure that Prolia didn't have a study that included Zometa
2)I have been in three business units including the OBU and guess what they have their share of micro managers too.
3) A Prolia and Reclast head to head trial never took place so I don't think you can draw that conclusion, and if you were 2 years versus 5+ years of data, 3 key fracture site, etc.
4) Side effect for osteo not as clean, clean as what - look at the length of the dmab onc trials and then look at the dmab pmo length. Longer a patient is on it the better chance they have of reporting a side effect, why do you think it mirrored placebo. Also, its the same protein so you think 3x dose 3x frequency in cancer patients would really be cleaner
4) Maybe this is why you are not making your numbers, I call on Endo's, OB/GYN, Neph, Ortho, Geriatrics as well on Rheum's still - we get paid by zip not by target, don't limit yourself to pcp/IM only.
5) Attitude is everything, you really think you can sell or persuade your customers to even listen to you while your inner beliefs about the company and the drug as you stated.
I really doubt that this person has a chance to go for both jobs, Amgen doesn't really work that way- staffing would pick it up and ask him/her which job they want to apply for.
If you are being honest, then be honest with yourself, evaluate your skill sets and attitude maybe heading back for a little refresher training might do you good.
PS my numbers sucked for the first 6 months of launch, I self-reflected and turned myself around. Have 10 buy and bill accounts and a few INS. Feeling good about myself and the company. Hopefully you can say the same in 2-3 months.
