The majority of everyone is leaving on there own! To only know of managers that have been let go, not reps. I'm not saying that reps eventually will not be let go, some are on plans and it's just a matter of time but trust me, stay away from Amgen, it's NOT where you want to be. I can assure you, about 65% of the reps here including myself are unhappy. We were sold a completely different position during our interview!

I agree with the last post. Stay away unless your unemployed. This job was completely misrepresented to me by my manager. I am in the BHBU in NJ. I was making more money in my last job and I was not micromanaged there.
 






I came over from big phara (one of the largest) and there is way more micro management. The DMs ride your ass every day/week/month/year. It really sucks here and everyone only cares about themselves and they stab you in back and lie. Quotas are unattainable and most reps are looming to leave. The company is in deep shit. But other than that it's good.

Too bad I thought Amgen was a good place to work. Thanks for the information. I can't stand mico management. I've come to the point after being in Pharma for a long time feeling that managers acutally hurt you from doing your job well. What other industry does a profession have to followed around like a child to make sure they do a good job. Offices hate when you bring your manager in cause the managers don't know when to leave etc.
