Boise to the Big East

West Virginia to the Big 12. That's all fine and dandy but if the SEC let's those yankee bastards Missouri in then I'm gonna have to request that Tennessee leave and start a new conference.

I was stunned when the ACC let in Boston College and now 2 more yankee schools. Can't these foreigners stay where they are?

Yeah there is no good reason Missouri should be in the SEC. This is a Football Conference and they are not a football school plus we already have too many damn tigers. Couldn't anyone think of something more original than a Tiger for a mascot? Mizzou is not even near the Arkansas line it is further north in the State so they should really be in the Big 10. Oh yeah, the Big 10 turned them down!

Is it official that Boise is going to the Big East? I really thought the Big 12 would have given them an offer and they still might if they want 12 Teams. I also heard a bunch of Sun Belt schools might form a new conference? More realignment chaos will ensue....

It's kind of like the CFL, with the Ottawa and Saskatechwan Rough Riders. It's a joke when the geographical proximity means nothing anymore.

Here is a map of the Confederacy. I don't see a Missouri in there. (Thanks PBS).

I am totally against Boise going to the Big East. First off, it's absurd to have one west coast team in an eastern conference. Like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. And don't forget that Pitt and Syracuse have already indicated they are going to leave the Big East. West Virginia is headed for the door too. I sense this is a desperation move to save the Big East from ultimate elimination. It's got to be all about the money. The Big East management must have stuck a big, big carrot in front of Boise's nose. It may be a ploy to try and keep West Virginia, Syracuse and Pitt from leaving. The whole thing could blow up in Boise's face. They'd better think long and hard before they make this move. It's not a done deal. The Idaho Board of Ed gave them the go-ahead today. Now it's up to the coaches and the University President. Short term gains are never a good trade off for long term misery. It's a damn shame that the Pac 12 didn't throw Boise an offer. Now that would have made good sense. Why would those morons bring Utah and Colorado into the fold and exclude Boise - which would pack some stadiums on Saturday afternoon? One other consideration here is that there's an excellent chance that Boise will not be the ball team next year that they are in 2011-12. This is Kellen's last year and the backup QB is nothing to party over. He can run but his passing ability sucks. Without a new QB recruit to replace Kellen - Boise won't be top 10 material. Maybe not even top 20-30 material. Perhaps Boise understands this is wants to strike gold while the iron's hot. That's my only guess.

Well they did it. They bastardized the SEC. SEC commissioner Mike Slive better hope I never run into his ass.

It really had nothing to do with the best interests of the game or what the fans want anymore, Pale.

It's all about the money.

This is just a sequel to Wall Street.

And the basic reason why your nation is in the process of getting flushed.
