I love the guy but he created such a terrible management culture. I can't quite figure out why. He seems to really care about his people.

When you lose great managers - Angela, Jamie, Jordan, Larry and then look at the dogshit that remains - Todd, Charlie and Madeline...it makes you wonder what went wrong. Somehow he created a culture of backstabbing and incompetence.
 






I wonder if he is related to Chris or Gabe. You know Gabe Kaplan from the TV show Welcome back Kotter. Oh Oh Mr. Koter Oh Oh . Welcome back welcome back welcome back. Remember Vinnie Barbarino. Boom Boom Washington and Horshshack. Hey this company was a big phony comedy show. They should have called Welcome back Chris Kaplan. Maybe they should have called it the Ass Drillin for Scripts or Sore Ass or The K&Y days.
 












Bob spent time with me in the field and was not my RD at the time. Was the nost thoughtful man and spoke to me like another human and not an idiot rep like so many other RDs treated us. Truly a class act and will be missed.

I don't know about that but he does resemble the lovable Mr. Slate from the Flintstones.
 






Bob Kaplan was one of the few truly fine leaders with Novartis. I worked with him in the early days of Novartis. Many of us who were part of the merger lost benefits from our parent company, Bob helped us to see what we could salvage. I was able to take an assignment to accomodate family, and also had a move paid for by Novartis. Only because Bob believed in me was I able to accomplish what I have done
 


















Bob Kaplan is a stand up man who deserved better than this. In my experience, he always took an interest, helped where he could, and treated reps like human beings.

Can anyone explain how they keep a new guy with 6 months of experience with Novartis in Clark Nielsen and get rid of quality guys like Bob Kaplan and Jeff Potts. Novartis and Brian this does not pass the test. Shame on you!!!!!

Let alone no industry experience..CN has only 7 months pharma!!! What a joke! How does that happen! Sounds fishy to me!
