Survey Monkey is a tracking tool and these are homemade surveys by a few BMS mid managers and committees who are violating compliance. They’ve been used by Diversity Committees and other internal groups without compliance review. Legitimate survey questions are validated by Masters level statisticians at third party companies. They are anonymous, validated against statistical bias and checked for compliance. I have received Survey Monkey surveys asking me personal questions trying to ferret out my race, family status, and religious and personal philosophies among others. And one came from a Diversity group! They are trying to cut costs by using a free homemade survey that tracks individuals and are asking questions that are illegal and biased. That’s not diversity and it’s not legal either.

BMS also conducts sham interviews, beware if anyone gets pushed through an interview process very quickly that’s a minority or female and never to hear back from them. They must close-out the interview process by doing these type of check box processes..terrible practice, they should be ashamed of themselves.

This happened to a female candidate I referred. 30 minute interview with questions about company values. Nothing about her background and qualifications was asked.

I witnessed managers pulling data out along with IP addresses that can tell them within a 4 block radius where the comment is coming from. BEWARE!!
