Since the company is SO concerned about diversity and inclusion, why not have "blind interviews"? Blind Auditions work on The Voice. Why not for hiring? The company can focus on hiring the RIGHT person and not focus on filling a quota.

I didn’t think there could be anything more stoopid that DE&I and the suitcase stories but I’ve been proven wrong. Thanks for that.
 












well.. while It sounds logical.. studies actually show that identical candidates but with different names.. like those that would have an ethnic sound.. aren't chosen over someone with a Caucasian sounding name. Its been well studied for years. bias plays a role.. folks aren't actually aware of it. And the "ask a friend" method.. while its no surprise people end up referring people that mirror them.. hence white males or maybe white females are on the referral list time and time again.

How about we fix our sales tactics before we worry about the people we hire. Does it bother you that there were two black people in our APOLLO study with the v122i mutation and yet the vast majority of patient receiving Onpattro commercially represent this demographic? We conduct our medicine like the Tuskeegee experiment and yet you’re worried about who we hire? The whole company with the racist sales tactics. If it weren’t so pathetic it would be comical.
