Biotrue corneal staining, should I buy?

Hey, I'm new here, I joined because I saw a thread saying that Biotrue causes cornea stains. I'm looking to buy Biotrue for my Acuvue Oasys contact lenses because I read reviews for Biotrue and most if not all say that its really comfortable. I checked staininggrid.com and the combination of Biotrue and my Oasys lenses have 0-1% corneal staining, but it has as much as 52% for other lenses. Would it be fine if I used them on my Oasys? and can someone please explain what is corneal staining in more detail, and why does Biotrue stain more than lets say, Clear Care?

PHMB, the disifectant in Biotrue and most other B+L lens care solutions has been implicated in issues related to ("high" levels) of corneal staining (when used in conjunction with contant lenses made from silicone hydrogel materials).

No clear evidence that CS causes any real medical issues with either vision or long-term damage to the human eye. (Not sure if there are any studies.) That said, most of B+L's competitors don't suffer from the same issue to the extent that B+L does and so they use it as a weapon when marketing lens care products.

Shame that B+L still hasn't really dealt with this issue, given the number of years it has been used aganist the company.
