biotech vs med device

Work life balance and pay compared.

I'm currently in medical device, money is good but hours are rough. Is biotech the best of both worlds (pharma hours and med device pay)? Any insight appreciated from biotech pros.

I work for a biotech company and the pay is unreal. It's a little more work than pharma because there is a lot of extra-cirricular coverage issues and more than an average amount of speaker programs, but definitely less hours and work than device. And it's new cutting-edge stuff!
