Anyone know who is hiring right now? Start ups? Biotech?

You would think Genentech would provide help for those those that were part of the most successful launch in Genentech History?

For those that came over for the launch...20 weeks severance? That’s it? Are you freaking kidding me?
Perhaps Genentech can do the right thing and help those they destroyed?

You don't want to hear this but that's actually a pretty generous package for someone who's just been here a year. No, it doesn't make up for this disgraceful treatment but get your resume together and start looking. Even if you're spared this time do you really want to stay here?
 






Hey folks, hang in there. It sucks, I know but control what you can control.. Get you resume done!! Start looking ASAP..interview everywhere so you don’t suck at interviewing because of rust..when CD20 goes biosimiliar it will effect you too. That is six months down the road.. don’t get complaisance..

During the last 11 years I have had a nice career in the pharmaceutical industry. I work as a "TRAINER" today, with a large company!
However I am still concerned about Bill Clark's family. His family needs to KNOW that almost everyone at Jazz, now accepts the FACT that Bill died of a Natural Causes. Jazz Pharma finally KNOWS the TRUTH! The FREAKS are exposed! This brings closure to Bill's family. I will continue to expose the CONSPIRACY FREAKS! I do enjoy exposing them! And they NEVER, EVER back- up their reasoning!!!!

Indeed job board is a great start. Also work your Linkedin profile, make sure it is up to date and accurate as many companies will look at your profile.

Actually I would normally agree with you but this is a very unique ( soon to be in litigation) case. People were recruited here averaging 15 years at their former Company, and 20 plus years in the industry. They were mislead about post launch actions and downsizing plans were in place prior to recruiting. Due to these plans I would say a year’s severance for all affected employees should be implemented. In addition I will go out on a limb and state the majority of the displaced employees will be the 2 year employees, again demonstrating Genentech’s lack of character and total lack of transparency.

Lastly I would also concur that anyone spared this time would be foolish to wait until the next Genentech debacle.

You are an “At Will” employee. Nothing is owed to you. Stop looking for a handout. You sound very entitled. Take what they give you and be happy you’re given something.

Haha. Yes, they are really concerned about your stress and anxiety! You all are freakin clueless. Lots of contract jobs available. Fierce competition however. Only the best of the best get hired.

Happens all the time in the real world. Hardly hostile work environment and the legal team is sleeping comfortably at night.
