Bioreference was kicking a** earlier this year: 3Q had 24% share of ACLA lab did 3.5mm PCR tests and routine testing down 9%. Averaged 39k/tests per day with capacity at 70k. then in October, testing went up 30%....and they dropped to 34k/day. Then they lost NBA contract and I heard trying to buy or partner with Mesa for point of care test. Curative is charging $150/test, igeneX is charging $300...they charge $62/test. Quest, Labcorp, Aegis, Sonic - all got $200 million for CARES. they got 26 million. In november, testing is double what it was in 3q - so in theory they did 3.5mm pcr they should do 7mm - but they guided to 3.2mm PCR and at 34k/day, even if it went up to 40k/day - they will barely do 3.4mm PCR. And routine not coming back. And why did they delay the Rayaldee Covid test? Management has always been bad at communicating, but seems like lately even more so and Cohen sounds like crap in conferences. They hired 2000 people and now are looking for mobile phlebotimists to do drive around in vans and test. They have 601 drive thrus - each one does 200 on average per day - that would be 120k test/day alone! I don't understand what happened from 2q and 3q when kicking on all cylinders and now. And Frost donated $500 million to Univ of Miami - its biggest hospital system in southeast - and we lost it to labcorp! he is on board of trustees - that means he votged for labcorp! Also, 4kscore test seems to be doing well, back to close to 20k tests. I heard they are doing weird things like routine tests out of Campbell, they will ship to NJ instead of doing it in Campbell, so doctors pisseed it takes 3 days. Why they doing this? And how did Curative with the DOD contract and Air Force contract? He is 25 y ear old kid who started lab this year. WE haven't won a contract since June. What is Cindy doing? Head of strategic ventures? WHAT STRATEGIC VENTURES? And did you see this shareholder Sian - they presentation is 100% right - why isn't management listening to them? Is their claim true the Board lost insurance so now is scared to do anything? Why aren't they working together with Sian and what happened? Something weird; I"m wondering if it is that Rayaldee thing that Sian said - they are trying to keep stock low to buy out company cheap.
 




Why is Invitae have 4-5b market cap. AND OUR WHOLE COMPANY IS HALF THAT? I have stock options that are wasting away and I stupidly bought stock in us when we seemed like we were starting to turn things around. I may demand answers from Monk.

Currently a BR employee that works in COVID. I can tell you that the company has most definitely fired many external contractors who’s job is to process and prepare samples for testing. Going from 39k per day to 34 might seem substantial, but is an ok loss in the long run when they fired dozens of non productive bums. When recruiting hundreds of hires it’s expected for half of those people to be gone in a few weeks, whether they get fired for poor productivity or just don’t show up. Hires have also slowed down since cuts have been made, which is probably an issue with the contractor recruiters.
