Biogen secures priority review for ALS drug that failed phase 3

Eavh time they constantly pursue the same path for the next product with questionable data, it just reaffirms that they truly believe they did everything right with ADU. They were never wrong - it must have been the terrible field team and the stupid customers, it couldn’t have been a bad strategy or poor pricing or a flawed clinical program, etc. These guys are fucking idiots.

Look at the new roster for the neuro ad com. Pretty sure this will be a whole different ballgame. The ALS expert was on Biogen adboard regarding endpoints for ALS trials.
Amongst the pricing, lack of discount, and terrible organization structure/role responsibilities, one of the biggest issues was that they did a shit job of combatting the negativity from the ad com. Honestly, had the ad com gone well, none of the other f-ups would have mattered much.
Don’t get me wrong, even if adcom goes well and FDA approves it, Biogen will likely find a way to screw it up. Lol
