Biggest FU-Quota Trip

What a crock of sh@t that a trip we earned through September 2012 is being dangled like a carrot and ONLY being paid out if we stay until 6/30/2013. Oh, and you changed the rules AFTER teams knew they won?!?! So now entire PC districts wiped out, reps slotted in those roles coming from other divisions (some new reps worked in other states over the border). Most new PC reps need to train on 2 of the 3 products AND have never called on their New customers! F@ck You Management!! You can't even keep it classy for a second!!!
 








How can they withhold something we already earned? Not even just recently, but half a year ago? They should have to pay up whenever the company leaves, whether that is today, or June 30. If the employee takes the option to leave prior to June 30, company has to pay trip money in the severance check, or cut a separate check. This is total absolute screw you over sh*t. Even worse, it's screwing the employees that made the most money for this sh*thole company.

I wish some attorney for reps would step into this matter.

Sorry, that should be pay up whenever the employee leaves. I'm pretty irritated about it. Guess I shouldn't be surprised Lilly would have one last slap in the face for us.
 








I've never seen a company treat their reps in this manner. Lilly Sucks!!
I hate the way Lilly treats people. In fact, I am not even putting it on my resume. I took a job with more pay in pharma, and they didnt mind that I pretended to have a 4 year gap in employment. My boss was such an ass, that I didn't see the point. Plus the pay was so low, that I didn't want my future offers to be based on my lilly salary, which was 35K less base than my prior job. I only did this to not travel. They treated me like crap the entire time. Lilly and my boss only like the fresh out of college kids who kiss butt.
 
















I have handed all the information over to my family's attorney to see if there is any legal action we can take on the quota trip. Lilly has plenty of legal direction, so I'm sure they are able to do this based on how a quota trip is defined. I believe it's a "Team Building" event and not classified as a bonus of any sort. Just ridiculous! We bust our butts all year in hopes of at least winning a quota trip and this is how you say thank you?!? No, Thank You Lilly! I'm so happy to be leaving.
 




Please let us know if there is any way to flex some muscle with Lilly on this. I can't imagine they'd leave any t uncrossed, but would love to find a way to make them do the right thing with this. jeez, I just said "do the right thing" ie, Lilly integrity and values. If this is a "team building event" they should just write us all a check, because I doubt there's a team left together that earned the trip. Check needs to be in hand, delivered by June 1, because probably everybody will about know if they have a job by then. Pay up a@@holes.
 




I was laid off three years ago. Our district had earned a quota trip. Lilly made sure we got the quota trip. My last day of employment with Lilly was during the quota trip. It was a bit awkward to have people who had been laid off, with the employees who were staying, but at least there is a pleasant memory of Lilly. You might want to let your attorney know that Lilly has set a precedent of hosting the quota trips to employees that are within the 90days prior to termination.
