Dear Mafia Boss,
Sorry about the mix up. We had been drinking heavily when we texted your CEO about our offer to "buy" his company. We thought it was a fake company since we didn't believe anyone would actually name their company "The Medicines Company". We were running around doing air quotes all night and LOA off! I saw that chiesi is based in nc for their US operations..not a coincidence considering that where medco newest chairmen of the board has a pharmacy program named after him.

They have their own cardio sales force promoting Cardene, the deal didn't include the reps... Better find a job quick.

There were def some surprises there. I wonder if it was based on performance? I'll take my severance and run out of this shit whole. This place went to the dogs no one in upper management knows what the hell they are doing. I hear IDC and SPC divisions are going to have some positions chopped. It's the nature of the beast. I hope everyone finds jobs VERY DIFFICULT DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
 






i thinks it's funny that some of you think there will be no reps coming over from the Medicines Company. First, they will be taking almost 70% of the cardiovascular sales force, at least offer them jobs. Whether they take the offer is another question. Secondly, the Chiesi sales force has little to no experience selling in the Cath lab or have current connections with cardiovascular Interventionalists. They have already had meetings with those whom they will offer positions, Chicago last week and Atlanta this week. They told us commissions would be 50% Kengreal, 40% Cleviprex and 10% Cardene. So who do you think will be in the best position to meet quotas and make money? Good luck to those that thought they were hot shit selling Cardene as you will now be starting at ground zero.
