via Health Care Service Corp. will roll out a new “two-way” information exchange between electronic health record giant Epic and its five Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans.
Health Care Service, which operates Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in five states, said Wednesday the health insurer and Epic have signed an agreement that will “create a secure, interconnected and efficient health system and information exchange between insurers, providers, and patients.”
