I clicked and read - you sent an advertisement to subscribe to some online newspaper? WTF - a joke? It really makes no difference what people would 'like'. Have the house hearings - if they find actual 'evidence', they can proceed and attempt to impeach. If not - that's the end of that idea. In the case of Trump, they found evidence of possible criminal activity and proceeded. In the 2nd Impeachment, 7 of his own Republican party voted to convict. I could be wrong but quite frankly, I doubt there is evidence that severe. If so, let it rip.
Why don't candidates start talking about what they will do if elected? What needs to be changed? And quit pissing and moaning that people of their own party recorded a 'mob boss phone call' telling a Governor in their own party that they need to 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink', find more votes for them.
I agree with Sen Romney, we need newer and younger blood in Congress - vs a bunch of old white men deciding women's health care.
Even GOP's Nikki Haley is down with that.
I also think Joe Manchin would be an interesting 3rd party candidate.

I would probably vote for Manchin as well. I like Tulsi Gabbard too just to name another. I tend to respect politicians who feel the extremists in their own party (either side) have made it unrecognizable to them. A moderate third party, without the D & R fringes is what we need to get this country back on track and actually get things done. Both parties are beholden to the extremists who are small in numbers but vast in noise levels. I still have faith that 80% of the population is relatively similar in beliefs. It’s the 10% at either end that eff it all up for everyone. I could be wrong, and if I am I think our situation is bordering on hopeless.

Manchin does NOT represent ALL my thinking but the guy is able to compromise AND he doesn't have a douche bag full of kids who sully his image - at least not that I'm aware of. I'm sick of hearing about these privileged little assholes: Ivanka, Don Jr, Eric, Hunter - give me someone who has a dog and whose kids are out of the picture.
I like him better than either Biden or Trump. Nikki Haley had some excellent points as well. Why is GOP spinning its wheels on a National Abortion law? Even if they put one on the table, there are not enough GOP votes to pass it. So why lose female votes over a 'nothing burger' that will not happen? It's a classic case of spinning the wheels and going 100 mph in neutral. Meanwhile our BIG threats, China, NOKO & Russian coalesce while Lauren Boebert vapes and flips off people at Beetle Juice who try to keep some order for the mainstay crowd.

Just read article in the Atlantic in which Mitt Romney spills the beans on his Republican cohorts. Sorry but that party is sullied. She loves anything Russian and honestly think she’s a tool of Putin. I’m voting straight democratic since they seem to be the only party who care about us peons. But then again I am more for a European or Canadian type of government. The American type of capitalism to me is pretty much dead. Yes, I agree and believe immediate families should be banned from playing any political role for POTUS. I also think insider trading (Pelosi as the glaring example) should be prohibited. I’m 100% in agreement on the abortion issue. It puzzles me how a bunch of mostly old men think it’s wise to wade into that issue???? I like Nikki Haley too, but the Trump looney base would never support her as she stands up to him. I’m just dejected about the immediate future of the country with the current political climate.
Actually I’m retired and just like the Republican Party I think pharma as practiced in the US should be destroyed. Ever buy your drugs in another country???? Like Europe or Canada?? You should try. Drugs fraction of price even when not insured. Why is that???Lobbyists cost money as do buying politicians. Filthy practice in my humble opinion.
