Did anyone get informed that their territory would be converted to a BI position yet?
I can't stop laughing....are you for real
Oh, you will definitely get rolled over......in the clover.
Rollover will still be a fixed duration situation, so does it really matter. BI is trying to prevent the massive turnover created by people leaving 'ventiv'
Nothing more
There'll be input from your current BI person as to whether or not you're asked to come aboard. If you're known in your area for not going to work, you're obviously not the ideal candidate. If you're not 'big pharma' material (looks and intellect (yes, I typed intellect)), ditto (we all know that Ventiv reps aren't usually the brightest or the most hard working bunch). Believe me, reps will talk with their DM and RM about you & about your reputation.
Just bc you're Ventiv and working with BI does NOT mean you're automatically going to be asked to rolL over full time. Earn your keep.

Although they may be trying to prevent the turnover, they will not be able to. When I interviewed for the JNJ rivaroxaban position (they did the Northeast area of the country last) they asked if I had any idea why so many BI (and ventiv) reps from across the country submitted their resumes and interviewed w/ JNJ. They seemed concerned that so many people selling a dynamic new drug were looking to jump ship--was it the market or the company that was making people eager to leave?
Honestly, whatever company name BI puts on our business cards (BI vs. Ventiv) many of us will continue looking to leave to make more money, to receive better treatment, and to get managed by
capable leadership.
We dont want to be contract we want the good jobs. Why do you think we apply all over the place? To get the hell out of here. Tick Tock each and every day is one less for us. I will be lucky to get 2 years out of my contract. KMFA
