Beware job hunters...

Allergan is poisoning your chances of landing another job as well as making your current one miserable. Hiring managers of many companies are now requesting your most recent field evaluations when you interview. This was not something I was ever asked for years ago in my past job search. From what I hear from other Allergan reps, DMs are now not allowed to give you a "meets expectations" or better on your review. This may be local, regional or whatever, but I know they this is going on. Since this is the case, as you go out job hunting, these less than stellar evaluations will continue to haunt you. It seems to me that they are trying to beat you down, and then keep you down by damaging your chances at future opportunities.

That's because you're not a cheating liar that changes evaluations & makes the rest of us look bad.

Uh, this is pharma. We already look like fucking morons. Are you proud to tell people that you do this shit for a living? Taking lunch orders from fat ass office staff? Coming up with "business plans"? We already look bad asshole, every last one of us.

Glad I tuned in to this site again tonight because this is a very fortunate thread. I have to agree. You should never walk into an interview without photoshopped documents. I left Allergan 5 years ago to another pharma and then to a device job, finally. I have used websites like Elance to hire foreigners to photoshop all my documents. I'm always top 5% in sales with the paperwork to back it up. Ive done it everywhere I've gone. And ladies and gentleman it works! The law prevents anyone from checking on you at your old job so you are shielded. My salary went from 80k + bonuses at Allergan to 97k + bonus of 30k at my last pharma company and now at my device company I'm part of a team and I will make 240k+ this year. And I'm likely to be in this job for a decade. If you're not faking your docs to get to the best job you can you are dumb. Keep your honor while I make 13,500$ in take home checks a month while working my butt off in a real job.

I've become just like the fat ass office staff eating my own catered lunch orders. I have ballooned up to 290 lbs and have lost all of my dignity thanks to this job.

You use websites to hire foreigners to photoshop things?

Tell us more, you sound so smart!

You are the reps that give a bad name to the industry!! Photoshopping your shit is so ridiculous!! You wouldn't have to photoshop if you did some REAL selling!! And you are the assholes that take jobs away from reps that truly work for their REAL accolades!! They will find out, especially if you went on an interview and made up your accolades and a rep that works for the same company as you did shows up with that exact same ranking!!! Hahahaha!!! Trust me, hiring managers aren't dumb and will put two and two together! (I've heard horror stories about this and you will pretty much be blackballed and working at the drive through at a burger joint!!! Karma is a bitch!!

Faking your numbers is wrong, no doubt about it. But "blackballed?" There are a lot of DM's that hire for a lot of different companies. Do you really think there is a master list of "banned reps" shared between pharma? LOL...I assure you there isn't. I'm not condoning faking numbers, but let's not over-exaggerate the risk of embellishing one's prior performance. The real risk is if you are unlucky and get caught you may be fired shortly after being hired. The short duration at a company will be a huge red flag to the next manager that interviews you. Short stays at companies or frequent jumping between jobs is what really kills people when they go to interview.
