Better hope the DOJ doesn't come knocking

EVERY lab does this when out of network. This isn't exclusive to Sqnm numbnuts.

Those that should be worried: the companies who were capping payment on IN NETWORK testing.

"I had the same test done because I will be 35 when I deliver and they told me the most I would have to pay is $180. My insurance is considered out of network and it is not covered but it is the policy of the company that performs the test. I would definitely call them."

There is no contractual agreement with out of network. SQNM can do whatever they want with out of network.

No. They can't.

They can't bill an insurance company thousands of dollars and then when it's not paid say the patient only owes $200.

Look up the False Claims Act.

And we're not submitting claims to Medicare and Medicaid and to private carriers through Medicare Advantage? Or through the exchanges?

Funny. Our bills state we accept their assignment.

We do and we are told by our manager that we cannot reduce the patient cost on these and anyone we're "In-Network" with.
