Bereavement leave policy at Quest

I have a friend that works at Quest who just lost a sister-in-law and she was told by her manager that she was only entitled to one day off. Most places allow three days, but he said that the death of in-laws only constitutes one day. Is this correct? Thanks

It might be correct, but suspect there is some wiggle room in matters like this so long as the same sister in law has not died five times. Everyone has a different definition of what constitutes immediate family based on closeness of relationships.
