Benefits & Vacation time for new hires

I am interviewing with Gilead and am interested in vacation time-what is typical? and Can you ask for more time??

Typical is 3 weeks and the offices are also shutdown from Christmas to New Years. At 5 years you get 4 weeks. It don't hurt to ask but they may not see the request as a good sign if you are really wanting to get in I would be cautious with how you asked. You could say my previous employer gave us 4 weeks could you match.
