If you ever get into a smaller company, or even a private company - you will cry at what is offered. You are very privileged to get what is offered. Do not look a gift horse in the mouth, you will always be disappointed. Left Pharma, went to a totally new industry [ learned a shit ton of new skills and came back to Pharma for the benefits for the family - special needs child. My deductible at the private company was over $12k before any real benefits kicked in that would have helped...

You must work in Chicago. AbbVie benefits compared to SF/Bay Area and Cambridge/Boston are mediocre.

Yeah…cut 401k contribution by 2%, crappy health insurance options compared to allergan, going from unlimited vacation to 4 weeks, but hey supposedly we get our uncapped bonus still…however, bonus are definitely lower than what allergan gave…
