Benefits going downhill fast

I’m like a lot of people dealing with Express Scripts for a serious chronic health condition that responds well to medication. Express Scripts does everything to deny meds, force temp sensitive ones to go through mail order, and limit our pharmacies. Home office isn’t navigating Express Scripts and Anthem benefits like field employees are. BCBS has cut their networks in a lot of places. Pharmacies in big chains were cut.

Express Scripts won’t even take copay cards when we work for a company that has copay card programs for their patients.

Some companies will give you a debit card if the insurance won’t take copay card. Call their financial assistance number on the drug’s website. At my last company, you could get the copay card online but had to call for the debit card. Such a pain. Not taking copay cards is getting more and more common.
If enough people bug the crap out of HR asking for help navigating, they will be a little more motivated to switch.
