For the record, each time there is large, national gathering of Novartians, there will be a number of Novartians who screw up and are put out to pasture. HR, those folks whose lack of attention to detail brought you the largest class action suit in the history of the industry will be on site to dismiss you if you get too drunk and stupid. At that point it might be the case that those of us who have been given a package might be called back to active duty. So behave yourselves folks, I have too many Tee times scheduled over the next several weeks, (weather has sucked too much for flying) and don't wish for this to be the case.

This is so classic. Here are the RT phases and anyone who has wasted their time reading RT pontification saw it:
Phase 1 "PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE ME": Be nice during the down sizing (It might be me because I am overpaid and I really am not better than anyone else even though I pretend that I am.)

Good morning my friend and thank you for your psychological evaluation. Believe me I have been evaluated by the best, yours is just the last in a long line. Who else do you know went before the shrink and was approved for POTUS contact? (Nixon was crazy, I was sane.) Who else do you know who held the highest security clearance given to military personnel? (NO TS is not the highest clearance)
My advice can either be taken or ignored, do so at your own peril. Really I was not overly disappointed at being "let go." A years pay, health insurance paid for by the company, other bennies, you should be so lucky. My package will get me to retirement age and with SS and my pension I will have a nice monthly income. My Roth, 401K and private investments will be a bumper/buffer and again, YOU should be so lucky. (most likely a youngster such as yourself will never see SS)
As for me getting you all down? Have you read the other posts on this site? Might you be the one constant nay sayer? Do you fear my comments might usurp yours?
