From a HDQ insider about to retire,
Word to the wise. Ask lot's of questions in your interviews about reporting structure, career path, and merit increase pay schedule. Also ask about the history of executive management changes and then have them state the company's short term, mid-range, and long term business plans. Do not be surprised if their answers lack clarity, or your question is ignored by changing the subject with a filibuster canned response.
Unfortunately, Sucampo has poor (Junior-High) leadership at the very highest level. If you accept an offer, just know this is not the right company for advancement. Sucampo has no intention of providing and leading folks to successful "career" opportunities. Think short term only. Best of luck.
