Pharmaceutical giant Bayer is getting rid of bosses and asking staff to ‘self-organize’ to save $2.15 billion

This is place very fat with managers, directors, VP. Very small salesforce too.

What is the purpose of field rides now when they blame of for a failed launch?? How many changes to coupons, lack of managed care, shirt dated samples and the lack of refills. How do we help customers compliantly with Prior Authorization?

You can’t help with PAs compliantly.

Providers/staff need to do this themselves.

Manufacturers can compliantly provide resources (like templates/example letters of medical necessity) to providers.

However, providing staff to complete PAs, consulting services for their business, etc. could be viewed as “value” exchanges that would trigger the anti-kickback or inducement to prescribe the drug. The OIG has said kickbacks and inducements are a no - no. (I’m oversimplifying the legal analysis).
