Interesting development. As this deal progresses, we should gain some insight into how this sale impacts the former Abbott - now Bayer employees with regard to their benefits. Will people at the doorstep of retirement lose any benefits? Will there be severance packages or will Abbott simply tell these people they're now Bayer and to deal with them?

This deserves some watching.
