Bayer has a long history in women health- they will get this right. At least that is what the street is saying and all the docs.

There’s no demand for the Bayer drug, there’s no demand for veozah. It’s not like Viagra, the demand just is not there. It’s just not a product people want at any price. Astellas literally can’t give the stuff away. It’s got nothing to do with the liver thing or anything like that. Hot flashes just don’t need a drug i guess. That’s just tge way it is. Bayer i heard was considering canceling the drug based on the Veozah results, but for stock reasons, they just had to finish it and then hope for some other indication. But the hot flash drug is DOA. It’s just not wanted at any price.

They’re just isn’t a market for hot flash medicine. At first I thought veozah was marketing wrong, or maybe the payer thing or even the testing. But that’s not the real reason, they’re just isn’t a demand for it. Viagra had issues in the beginning and it was very expensive and it was flying off the shelf full list because people wanted the product. Thebayer product is the same way but they have to go through with it because they spent all the money. Hot flash stuff just isn’t in demand in the slightest. Astellas can’t give the stuff away. There’s just no market.

The product works but maybe get indication for men with hot flashes due to Lupron.

Posts #7&8 are spot on. I heard that people in market access kept warning teams about lack of demand/ impact on payers. I do think that the clinical efficacy is not consistent enough for doctors to keeps writing it with all access issues and now you add safety issues. yikes. Run Forrest Run while you can.

Bill Andersen has already negatively affected Bayer after destroying Genentech and being rewarded by being given the keys to the Roche kingdom before going to Bayer. Beware
