Bausch and Lomb waterford are like the Irish politicians, Big Gangsters,
Money and Jobs for the Boys, Mind you there are screwing money out of the Government, They let go 1 employee, and then for every person they take off the register (unemployed) and gives a job to. they get 10 thousand per person,
So last year , they left go 200, and less then a year later , they are re hiring 200 again. they do that here all the time.

Yeah I heard on the grapevine about this last week.
Our Irish colleges are receiving the biggest investment for expansion Valeant has ever committed to.....and why you may ask ?

It was mentioned here on this forum last year that Pegasus (ULTRA) would be going back to Ireland from the US when the time was right, and the guy or gal that posted it was called every name under the sun for being so dumb.
Well now with 112,000 sq ft extension being added to the existing large facility in Waterford supposedly for the continued ramp up of biotrue lenses using new state of the art manufacturing lines, there will be ample room to fit all of Valeants lens manufacturing capabilities under the one roof and this my friends will include Pegasus (ULTRA) coming from Rochester in the not too distant future.

This was the plan from the outset, but they killed 2 birds with the one stone last year by firstly calling the Waterford workers bluff into accepting large pay cuts and cuts to benefits and kept the US politicians (Sen. Charles Schumer) happy by bringing the Pegasus lines to Rochester.
Now that the Waterford people are working for a much less pay packet its time for Valeant to make its move and start creating Waterford as its eventual sole lens manufacturing facility at the expense of their US counterparts.
