I think you should look at the history of bariatrics at JNJ. REALIZE band was launched about 6 years ago, never took hold with all the "fancy marketing" that included the MySuccess website, etc. Didn't take long before all the perks of having a REALIZE band started to disappear and patients were left with a lot of surgical choices for weight loss. JNJ has slowly pulled out of this market, I wasn't even aware the REALIZE band was still a product line sold through Ethicon Endo. My advice is look long and hard at bariatrics, I understand the staplers used in bariatric surgery is the only thing left and that's all pretty much commodities and contracts at this point.

That is a great point. Its just hard because I am trying to figure out what is the best next step in my career. I worry about the future of sales and I wonder if there is more security inside corporate and obviously marketing seems like a natural progression.

I just feel kind of stuck.
