My sister is thinking of interviewing for this. "Supposed" to make $140-160k first yr and potential to make well over $200k That would be a pretty big pay cut for her now in her current device job that requires 40% overnight travel. Trying to improve quality of life. Is Bard a big player? Any new technology? Would this be a step down from working in the O.R.? How is turnover and how are their managers? How about Boston Scientific? Thanks so much!

If she wants QOL, then stay far away from Bard. Their micromanagement is smothering. You'll be chasing cases all week and filling out activity reports on the weekend. OK if you don't have a family. Why take a $20K pay cut and bury your face in your computer evenings and weekends? There are better gigs.

What would you guys consider a better gig? I'm coming from ortho and am considering a jump to Bard. I'm a 1099 here, underpaid, and get raped on territory expenses every year. The salary at Bard alone was persuasive for me to leave. (not to mention health insurance)
