To all the people left that aren't directors or above, get out while the getting's good. To all the directors and above, there is a special place in hell for you. The decisions, or lack of decisions that you pricks were part of have cost everyone from the stock holders down to the last 500 who where laid off dearly. Some of the decisions on who was retained were not based on sound business, but on personal relationships. Retaining dependents to personal relationships (it's cheaper for the company pay for those expensive HIV treatments than your girlfriends family), and "yes" men who are only there to prop up already inflated egos.
From everything I've seen from the big C's, it's a setup to sell the business. Look at the recent hires for executive consul and HR. And what's really stupid, they have consultants coming in to give them guidance in moving the business forward. WTF? Talk about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!
