At a recent meeting in the Midwest, Topher told the room that he did not support giving the sales forces the week between Christmas and New Year off. Additionally, he said he would vote in favor of this in the future. Bah Humbug Topher !!!
 




Who cares what he does, says or votes for. I've been around 15 years and never work that week. Your customers don't want you around. Either take vacation or take a "unofficial vacation" It's as easy as that.

Just do what all smart AZ people do and smile and cheer and say Yassir Boss all us chillens are on the bus with you. You beein the smartest man in the room, how could be disagree. Then do what you fucking want to do every other day of the year. I haven't worked a Monday or a Friday in over four years. And I never work the week of a holiday unless my manager schedules a day with me.

Who gives a shit about what the fucker votes for or not! I have been practicing the new AZ tradition of the ALL DAY LIE years before it became an AZ tradition. I haven't worked a Friday in over 10 years. Also, I haven't worked the week of Xmas… ever. Let him vote anyway he chooses. It doesn't matter one damn bit!
 




For as hard as the field is working this year...why wouldn't you support giving us a break to thank everyone for their hard work...and giving us a few extra days to recharge our batteries before we need to do it again?!?!?
 








He doesn't care because he gets plenty of vacation. It is rude to say you are evaluating to see if this should be incorporated into the schedule and never mentioned again.

People love traveling and spending time with family. And to not be able to carry over vacation is wrong!

Either a wave to the doc or a "don't forget the Crestor" while they sign or an outright never been in the office faked call. Yes some reps don't do this but the majority do. You know it, I know it and I got news for you so does management. You got brass balls for asking for this time office. Read previous posts....nobody cares anymore....just put down calls for those days if you don't get them off.

Exactly. Just smile and agree with everything leadership says. Never ever ask a challenging question or even act like you might have a different opinion. We don't have anyone watching us 95% of the time and guess what, your manager isn't working full days or full weeks either.

absolutely. I can assure you that Topher will not work the week between Christmas and New Years. I work in HQ and can also assure you that most of your managers don't work from the middle of December until the second week in January. That is right, 3 to 4 weeks of office days, vacation and writing reviews. Made up bullshit to make it look like they are busy.
 




Any high school drop out who looked at this industry would understand sales reps do not sell they give a message. Their influence on physicians is limited at best. Most calls are fake and "paper compliance" with metrics is rampant. Everyone knows this? So why does it persist? It's the biggest ponzi scheme in the world. You get rid of reps...you don't need middle managers...you don't need middle managers well let's get rid of some senior managers. So to protect their jobs senior managers look the other way and state well we need a sales force because the competition has one. If AZ cut their sales force by 75% tomorrow sales would not suffer. This is all a joke and eventually it will all end. (they have to wake up and cut sales people eventually). So the week between xmas and new york....it's a time off. Nobody cares. No one will check up on you.

News Flash, every Pharma company is the same. Every rep lies their ass off every day in order to keep their bosses and their boss's boss employed. It is a ponzi scheme and everyone is making a lot of money keeping this lie alive. 90% of call are fakes with at best a sample drop and the 10% that are real calls less than 10% of those are effective. So do the math. Out of 100 calls, maybe 1 actually made an impact. Not a very good return on investment. Don't even get me started on how much money is wasted on worthless support roles in HQ or sales management.

Is it true that the Fuller brush man followed Tilton to Amgen? I guess he couldn't survive without the foul stench of having his head stuck up Tilton's ass. So who rescued Tilton and brought him to Amgen? None of these assholes ever made it on their own accomplishments because they never had any.
