How far back does Innovex or Quintiles go back to verify employment? Do they check every company/job you've ever had?

Can someone give please give good insight into this please, I don't have all of the name and numbers of every company I've worked for in the past as I have over 20 years in the business and can't remember every addressnumber of the 5 plus companies Ive been with .. Just needed to know if I needed to dig them all up.
