Background Check Request

It was for an FDE position in diabetes. I wasn't sure how the interview went, I thought I did well, but towards the end I started second guessing myself. Did they give you any indication that you would be receive the BG check?

Nope you get no indication, at least the people i interviewed with did not get one. They just told us we would either recieve and email with a request for BG check, a rejection email, or an offer.

After the f2f and background check, is there another interview or is that the end of the interview process?

Simply unbelieveable!!! So many questions....doesn't anyone from Lilly tell you anything?

Here was how I was hired: Manager comes to me and takes me out to lunch. 3 weeks later, the manager comes to my house, takes me and my wife out to dinner. At the end of dinner, he offers me a sales assignment. I say yes, and a week later I go to sales training. A very pleasant beginning to a 30 year career.

I cannot believe the crap you all have to go through now just for a freeking fixed duration job.

I did the f2f in Dallas, got a request for BG check, was told by Lilly care that everything looked good in my file, and have gotten nothing-no rejection email or job offer..wtf?

Dude, we're in the EXACT same boat....even f2f in Dallas and Lilly care telling me they had everything they need. Don't understand the delay. What area of the country did you interview for?

Also waiting on word from the background check. I have been laid off for 6 months and have gotten behind on some bills. Will the credit report keep me from getting a position? I can't get caught up unless I get a job!

Therein lies the paradox of modern America. Young people don't work unless there is a stick over their heads, courtesy of the credit card companies. The carrot is another matter, it's been shriveling for decades now.

Good luck with the carrot and the stick. Sooner or later, they will have no choice but to hire, unless it can somehow be outsourced to India or China... like I say, good luck.

Background check should take about two weeks. There was no additional interview for the FDE - Diabetes positions. Just the initial phone, f2f and then an offer or rejection. Good luck.
