The entire group was screwed up before, if is pathetic now with some brainless Briggs in US as in charge. The ship will have a lot of holes now, she is clueless. The previous regime and BU model RA sucked including their leadership, but this is worst.
Welcome to new BL and the Briggs show.

Perfect she and her group will fit in just right with the existing idiots in bridgewater. Why has reg been such a bucket of incompetents and oddball political nimrods at Valeant? Probably a result of an inexperienced bozo sue hall hiring the pathetic lot. I have never seen such a bunch of naive people in reg who engage in the typical political behavior to distract everyone from from their shortcomings and screw ups. Good luck to everyone, Valeant continues to cumulate a middle and senior management group that is one of the most inexperienced and political in the industry.

Yes, but they have their bad points as well.

I can tell you in my dealing with local RA groups have been horrid. They are required to know regulations but they don't know them and they love to point fingers at R&D, operations, quality, medical type functions for every misstep caused by rejection of submissions. They flat out suck.

Ain't that the truth !

100% Truth.

Regulatory leaders like Kim Briggs and Denise McEachern have set this company back many years. Denise has been bolted by our boy DeSouza but they have kept numb nuts Briggs. What a freaking joke she is, useless and clueless and flat out dumb.

Welcome to the Valeant culture. As you've seen, talent and hard work do not factor in to keeping your job at Valeant. Sucking up, stabbing your neighbor in the back, stealing your neighbors credit, and blaming everything and everybody that moves for your mistakes does.

If you're not comfortable being that kind of "person", then you need to be looking hard for a way out. It's sad, but they think it's the way things should be. You can't throw guilt trips on sociopaths, and you can't appeal to their humanity when they're not of our race.

There are some great people at Valeant, really. None of them are in charge of anything though.

Ole Timmy in STL falls right in line with the rest of 'em then.

You are damn right about him. The surgical regulatory under Denise's leadership under achieved every milestone. Every strategy was wrong and the direction provided by the RA team was always wrong.
Rest in peace left over RA.

I will want to believe that I find anything that tells me that Kim Briggs can do her job let alone lead US RA but I find myself dumb founded. I suppose the other option could have been McEachern even worst. D'Souza had an option to bring fresh blood in but screwed up.

So very true. Hard to figure out how people end up as high as they are, making decisions at that level that are so far off base, completely lacking in fundamental regulatory knowledge, and with such poor judgment. Now a few are left behind to try and clean up the screwed up strategies of old. Good luck to them and good riddance, I say.

McEachern was horrible. Loved to hear herself talk, even when no one was listening. How she lasted this long no one knows. 50% of her group resigned last year, if that is not an indication of her leadership, I don't know what would be.

You are absolutely 100% correct. She is one of those rare wanna be executives who love to hear themselves talk and the worse is that she always says the obvious. Very few people can shut her up and it's not because they respect her, it is because they can't stand her.
Good sorry excuse of a leader is leaving, we are much better without her.

McEachern had no clue, Briggs has to be better than her.

Just wait until regional regulatory is responsible for everything, what a disaster that will be they are even more clueless than the global groups.

There is no accurate database for regulatory. Ask global where the products are registered or when is the renewal and you'll see that all those information are on the head or excel sheet of the people.

This will be a disaster for Valeant business because they'll lose a lot of products in the regions while there is not enought accurate information. But I think that they already thought about that before to make the transition.

BL RA is the worst RA group I have ever seen. They are not accountable, they constantly blame others for their failures, they do not want to create simple systems such as a registration database, they have no regional and global strategy, they simply collect easy money. People like Briggs, McEachern should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for such a poor performing organization. They themselves are useless.
