As an assistant Clinical Investigator with Rigel Pharmaceuticals I must say how unprofessional the Astra Investigators are. They are under intense pressure from their legal division to peel back everything and test everything without a sound reason. Now everything is pending Phase 3 OSKIRA and they want to change things again. Why we teamed up with Astra is beyond me. That company has a reputation for making great compounds go bad!
AZ does not see value in experience and relationships. They run the sales force like a factory that only recognizes ridiculous metrics like sov and calls per day. Now they look at cost per sales call and that totally removes any consideration of the quality of the call. They will layoff the more senior and most expensive PSSs and managers and backfill them with contract service reps and newbies. You can take that to the bank.Tomorrow would be too late . CNS is going away for sure. Leadership will realize that Brillinta is a dog and fire all the addition reps they just hired! It'd the AZ way.
