AZ training..

10 days of home study then one day fly out to certify? Any more details?

That's about it. Simple basic training. The Certification process is simple. Just say the indication, contraindications and savings card and you will do fine. The first test at home is about disease state, second about Onglyza PI and 3rd about the Kombiglyze XR PI. The Kombiglyze is the hardest and the Onglyza is the easiest.
Beef up your cell phone minutes or use your home phone. 3-5 hours worth of conference calls/Viryual learning a day.

From an insider's perspective (and I think this is probably a pretty good guess): They'll have the AZ Managers drive from Wilmington, DE (some of them live in or near Philly though) and you'll do the one day certifications at the PSS facility in Yardley, PA.

They've been doing certifications non-stop here in Yardley (about 1 -1 1/2 hour drive depending on traffic). Make sure you get reimbursed for the cab fare, if they don't provide for transportation. I doubt they will conduct certifications at one of the Airport area hotels, BUT it is possible to save on reimbursing you folks for cab fare, when the shuttles to the hotels are free.

You'll spend a day doing role play scenarios with the visual aids and get a decent free lunch too...Sure as hell beats 2-3 weeks away from home in Wilmington, DE at AZ's training center!

Good luck, folks! I'm sure you'll as do fine! :)

Good fucking lord, now I have seen everything. AZ + PSS. LOL. Could not get two more funny fucked upped organizations together if you tried. These two shit compnaies deserve to be together.

Enjoy your hell.

Have they been doing them in Yardley as well? They just ran everyone thru AZ's new state of the art rep detailing facility. Or are you saying that from now on they will run them thru Yardley?

Ok...that makes sense. Just to have everyone do the Certifications at AZ in Wilmington, DE area (not too far from the the Philly airport) and all of the trainers and Mgrs, can stay in one spot without having to schlep to the PSS facility. Guessing they used AZ shuttles buses or something to take you guys/gals back and forth.

There are certifications in Yardley, just not for the AZ folks apparently. Hope you all did well! Congrats on the new positions!

It's nice to hear good feedback. I think we have a good group (at least my group). I am happy to have a job with good benefits. I also like these two drugs, so it should be an interesting development. Certification was intense at the time, but really nothing to worry about if you understood it and practiced it. It's not that difficult.

not that tough unless they fly you in from the west coast and you have no sleep the night before....

You went to college, right? You never pulled an all nighter? It's not like you were asked to take a test or anything. All you had to do was parrot the lines from training or even what the person before you said.
Good grief, what is this Country coming to?
